Overview
My background is in law — I'm currently leading an AI-integration effort at Jaffe Glenn Law Group, automating document drafting, client intake, and discovery workflows — along with an operations stint at an early-stage biotech startup, where I drove an FDA submission using an AI-first workflow. I decided against following the classic pre-law track, and now I'm primarily targeting business operations, chief-of-staff, sales, and go-to-market roles — something strategic, fast-paced, high-impact, and ideally commercial.

Here's how I got there —
London
I was born and raised in London, in a Russian-speaking home. At ten, I moved to Italy for three months and enrolled in a local primary school — that's how I learned Italian. At eleven, I started at Latymer Upper School and stayed through Sixth Form, graduating with A-Levels in Italian, Philosophy, History, and English, plus an extended research project awarded a Distinction (53/54).
University of Chicago
I flew into Chicago in September of freshman year sight unseen — my first time on campus was move-in day. Four years later: a B.A. in History & Philosophy (3.8 GPA, Dean's List), two courses on the philosophy of AI, three years arguing students' cases on the Student Advocacy Board, and a firm position on Chicago hot dogs (never ketchup).
Legal training
Roles across immigration, employment, international, and editorial law. Three years representing students in disciplinary proceedings on the university's Student Advocacy Board.
Law to operations
The work I kept choosing was operational — building document systems, automating intake, running an FDA submission, writing an AI pipeline for case sourcing. I decided to make that the career rather than the side effect.
